I want her to win

We met in kindergarten.

Her favorite sandwich was peanut butter and honey.

We were best friends until we just weren’t anymore.

She is the baby of her family and the beloved only daughter.

I still know her old phone number, which was the second one I
memorized. (First I had to learn my own.)

She has a successful career helping people and an even more successful
family life.

Her stick straight blond hair was the bane of her existence and
the envy of mine.

They found a tumor hidden in her strong and compassionate mind.

I wish we had no need of chemo caps.

I want her to win.

“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an
indomitable will.” – Mahatma Gandhi

  1. I want her to win, too.

  2. Thank you!
